Most credit union loans are computed on a "simple interest" formula. This means interest is calculated on your loan's decreasing balance and never charged in advance. There is no pre-payment penalty should you decide to pay your loan off prior to the scheduled payoff date.
Low-cost loan protection insurance is available with each credit union loan to protect you or your family's future should death or disability occur during the term of the loan.
