Introducing Debit Rewards
Now you can turn the dollars you spend into Reward Points simply by using your debit card. Beginning September 1st, all CheckPlus and Platinum debit card holders will earn ScoreCard® Reward Points when they make a signature-based or “credit” transaction. There is no fee to participate and no activation is required. You can redeem your points for travel and brand name merchandise.
50,000 Point Monthly Giveaway
Each month in 2008, we're giving away 50,000 Reward Points. Each time you use your debit card for a signature-based or credit transaction, you will automatically be entered into a special monthly drawing. The more signature/credit transactions you make, the more times you'll be entered. Complete rules.
Earn Points
Many times when you make a purchase with your debit card, you can choose “CREDIT” and sign for the transaction or you can enter your PIN (Personal Identification Number). Now, debit transactions processed without the use of a PIN will earn Reward Points. You will earn one point for every $3 you spend on a transaction when you use the credit/signature option.
- Select “CREDIT” each time you make a purchase with your debit card to earn points. The money will still be deducted directly from your checking account.
- Transactions made online, by telephone or other transactions that do not require a signature or PIN, will earn points.
- ATM and “debit” transactions using your PIN do not earn points.
There is no limit to the number of points you can receive, so the more you use your debit card for credit transactions, the more you reward yourself!
View Point Balance
Login and track your daily point balance at www.scorecardrewards.com. Once logged in, you can also view available rewards, create a wish list and redeem your points. When you login for the first time you will need to provide your First and Last Name (as it appears on your card), the last 8 digits of your debit card number and the billing zip code of your card. At this time you can also create a Login ID and Password to use to access your account in the future.
Redeem Points
There are a variety of merchandise and travel options:
- Travel: Redeem your points for airline tickets, hotel accommodations, rental car certificates, cruises and vacation packages to travel to destinations in the U.S. and around the world.
- Merchandise: You can choose from over 600 brand-name items in the ScoreCard® merchandise catalog. You'll find electronics, furniture, toys, sporting goods and more. Plus, shipping is free!

Combine Points
Members can combine their Reward Points with other qualified Palmetto Citizens members for greater reward options.
Combine with members sharing the same last name and addressed - Simply log into your account through the ScoreCard® website and click on Householding to combine points with another member who shares your same address (on file with PCFCU) and last name (as it appears on your card).
Combine with members NOT sharing the same last name and address - Visit any one of our service center locations to complete the needed documentation. All parties must be present to make this request. Please bring a valid photo ID.
Details:
- In order to combine points, a primary account must be selected (Head of Household Account). All secondary accounts being added to the Head of Household Account will be referred to as Contributing Accounts. There is not a limit to the number of accounts that can be combined.
- All combination of ScoreCard® Points are FINAL. Points cannot be divided up and placed back to individual accounts once they have been combined.
- Once accounts are combined, any one of the account holders may redeem the collective points.
